Children's Hospital and Clinics of Minnesota Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota was growing and needed to expand their facilities. The expansion project included two hospital complexes with the phased construction of a new five story specialty care center, a parking garage, as well as a reconfigured and expanded main hospital building.
Our design team followed a four phase design process to develop and implement complete wayfinding systems and a new interior and exterior sign program for both the Minneapolis and Saint Paul campuses. The playful yet respectful design utilized kid friendly stars and bright colors to enhance the experience for the hospital's patients and their families.
